Retail Pulse Q4 2022

Prime retail supply stood at ca. 2.16 mil m² by the end of the last quarter of 2022. Bratislava region accounts for the majority, representing approx. 34%, followed by Kosice, Nitra and Zilina region.

Majority of the modern retail stock is represented by Shopping centres with 65% followed by Retail parks with ca. 26%. The rest of the stock with the share of 9% consists of Retail Galleries, Department stores and Concept stores.

Currently, there is ca. 52,200 m² of new retail area under construction. Largest projects are situated in Bratislava and Kosice.

Prime shopping centre supply reached almost 1.43 mil m² at the end of Q4 2022. Bratislava region has the biggest share, which accounts for 40% of total shopping centre area in Slovakia.
